Account Executive (AE) – SaaS
Location: London (Hybrid)
We are partnered with a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS organisation operating in a high-growth technology sector.
Following significant recent investment and continued commercial expansion, the business is entering an exciting scale-up phase and expanding its London-based commercial team with the appointment of a driven and polished Account Executive (AE).
The organisation provides a software platform that helps businesses streamline and improve complex operational processes, delivering efficiency, structure and better decision-making across multiple areas of the customer’s business.
The Role – Account Executive (AE)
- As an Account Executive, you will own the full 360 sales cycle, with a strong focus on consultative selling, structured discovery, and product demonstrations.
- You will be responsible for understanding complex customer requirements, assimilating detailed information quickly, and translating this into clear, value-driven SaaS solutions that address specific pain points.
- This is a high-quality, process-led sales role requiring strong commercial discipline, curiosity, and the ability to articulate value in a structured and compelling way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full 360 sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Running structured discovery calls to uncover customer needs and pain points
- Delivering tailored SaaS demonstrations aligned to business challenges
- Translating complex requirements into simple, commercial value propositions
- Building, managing and progressing a structured sales pipeline and funnel
- Applying defined sales methodologies consistently across the sales process
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and handover
- Maintaining strong deal discipline, forecasting accuracy and pipeline hygiene
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a driven, curious and polished Account Executive who can demonstrate strong SaaS sales capability and structured sales thinking.
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Account Executive in a SaaS environment
- Background in SME, SMB or Mid-Market (not enterprise)
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth scaling environment is highly desirable
- Proven experience managing full 360 sales cycles
- Strong ability to assimilate complex information quickly and communicate it clearly
- Confidence delivering SaaS product demonstrations and solution presentations
- A clear understanding and application of sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger, or similar)
- Demonstrable experience building and managing a structured sales pipeline and funnel
- Strong articulation, commercial awareness and attention to detail
- A proactive, self-driven and highly curious mindset with strong personal discipline

The Package
- £60,000 - £70,000 basic salary
- £100,000 - £140,000 OTE uncapped
- Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days remote)
- 28 days holiday
